Star-delta starter: the short answer
A star-delta starter initially connects a compatible motor in star and then transfers it to delta for normal running. The motor must have accessible winding ends and a delta running-voltage rating matching the intended line supply. Starting torque and the transition behaviour must suit the driven load.
TPE supplies motor-control equipment and manufactures custom control panels. Confirm whether your requirement is a manufacturer-built starter, a replacement component or a custom panel assembly. The supplied make, scheme and manufacturing responsibility will be identified in the quotation; the reference image does not establish a supplied model.
Compatibility comes before horsepower
A larger HP number does not make star-delta starting suitable by itself. Share the motor nameplate, terminal arrangement, driven machine and operating duty. The designer should confirm that the motor can accelerate in star and complete the transition under the required conditions.

Compare complete assemblies
A star-delta quotation should identify its contactors, overload arrangement, timer/control method, interlocks and enclosure. Do not infer an overload setting from motor current without the circuit drawing: relay location affects the current it measures. The manufacturer scheme and engineer-approved settings take precedence.
Replacing one contactor or timer also requires its exact duty, coil/control voltage, auxiliary contacts and mechanical compatibility. A shared brand name or matching current number is not sufficient evidence for a substitution.
Send the motor and panel requirement together
Send the motor nameplate and terminal details, load description, available supply, required controls and approved drawings. Include the quantity, delivery location and any site handover/documentation requirements.

Questions about Star-Delta Motor Starters
Can every three-phase motor use a star-delta starter?
No. Winding terminals must be accessible and the motor delta running voltage must match the line supply. The load must also be suitable for the starting and transition behaviour.
Should the overload setting always equal the motor nameplate current?
Do not use a universal setting. The measured current depends on where the relay is placed in the star-delta circuit. Follow the approved manufacturer scheme and engineer settings.
